New Royal Mail Postage Prices from 6 April 2010
Royal Mail has announced that the price of First and Second Class stamps for standard letters weighing up to 100g would rise by 2p, to 41p and 32p respectively, from 6 April 2010.
So buy your stamps before Easter and make
2nd class - 6.6%
and 1st class - 5.12%
Make sure that the stamps you buy say 1st or 2nd class & not a price. If they don't say a price then they're valid no matter how far the cash price rises.

Superdrug had a 5% off offer on books of 1st class postage stamps, but that ended on 13 Feb 10. Superdrug has run this offer several times over the last few years so it's worth keeping an eye out for whenever it's on as stamps marked Class & not Price are inflation proof.
