Thats only because all the ones so far have been great ideas in theory, but I know wouldn't work in practice.

Lets make it clear, I don't run this forum mattpark does. Most of your suggestions are things I couldn't do myself, mattpark would have to do them as hes the administrator. I do have experience of using the phpbb3 admincp on another site so thats where my responses come from.

Remember this is not a Jeremy Paxman interview - you can't demand that people reply to your questions as fully as you want them to, members can reply however they want.

At last kieth you have got the piont I know who runs the site but you answer as if you do

By replying with one lines I think that detracts for the quailty of the site, I do not know you but am happy to chat to you any time but making replys for the sake of it just means you appear to have the last word on most posts - is that what you want? because sometimes it looks like that.

lol love JP comment

Try and be positive m8t it helps on many levels, I am sure the help you give on this site is most welcome maybe you could spend your time helping Mat with some of the backroom stuff alowing to maybe look at my sugestions and even put some into practice.

I did not want to come accross as bossy but with my comments you seam to have got my piont

Best wishes

Why don't you message matt and ask if you can help out? I am a very busy person and my life does not revolve around this forum. I look after the forum on a day-to-day basis - I read every single post and decide if its suitable for the site or not.

I am being positive, miles - I am being honest with you by telling you what is and is not possible on the phpbb3 admincp.

No offence, but as far as I can see you aren't being very positive. I understand you dont want to sound bossy, but your posts do sound a bit negative.

Its up to members to decide if to reply or not and what they want to reply with, just be greatful to get any replies.

If you really want to help out, ask mattpark if he has got any leaflets you could deliver.

I think my suggestions are positive and I realy wanted to help make this site more popular I am not trying to make ppl post just make it better known and better used and therefor more usful and give the moderators get a little more satisfaction from their efforts.

I would be happy to push info through the doors and help with an info board in Tescos, and get the Gazzet to feature the site in the Gzt or TS17 pappers and see if the GZ would like to support the site with a link to and from theres, but the only feed back I have had is no no no can't and none of the things above have anything to do with phpbb the only sugestion i made that would require work only from admin is an update e mail to all the members, but that is a no too,

So as my post have been positive suggestions on how to increase use I fail to see how this is negative!
