From the 22nd April the session will take place on Wednesday mornings at St Francis of Assisi Church Centre, Barwick Way.
For those of you not familiar with what Talking Tots is about, these are interactive, fun classes for children aged from 12 months to school age. We use carefully designed games, rhymes and activities to encourage children to build solid communication skills and social confidence.
Talking Tots also uses games to teach children about narrative skills (telling stories), as well as providing phonological (sound) and semantic (word) awareness – skills that will make it easier for your child to learn to read and write later on.
Of course, children at Talking Tots are too busy having fun and making friends to realise they’re learning.
So, whether your little one is just finding their first words or is already a complete chatterbox, the classes will help them to learn about sounds and words in a fun way, building confidence and pre-literacy skills.
To register your interest please contact Sarah on 07969 263011 or email sarah@talkingtots.info. To find out more about this class or other classes running in the area visit www.talkingtots.info.
